Memory 2000 was an six country initiative begun in Padua, Italy, which sought to chart the memories of people who had experienced the second world war. 12 people each from Italy, Greece, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom and France were asked to remember how the war was for them. The interviews were gathered then placed ona permaneent website online (the pictures are links).
