Terry Flaxton has been a practising visual artist since the late 1970s. His current work with the University of Bristol looks at the way that High Definition is changing practices in installation work. Recent work with Ignition includes three installations as part of The Art of Memory, funded through EU Culture 2000, in collaboration artists from France, Italy Greece and Germany. One of the installations, seen at the opening of restauant, Bordeaux Quay, was The Dinner Party previously seen at the Techne and Invideo Festivals in Milan. IN OTHER PEOPLE'S SKINS was funded by Arts Council England and toured cathedrals and abbeys in the UK during 2008.
