Alison Sterling Producer

Alison Sterling trained at RADA and worked as an actress for 20 years, with substantial roles in television, theatre and film. She founded and ran for ten years Moving Target Theatre Company, which produced new writing for the small-scale touring circuit (venues such as the ICA, the Young Vic and the Edinburgh Festival). She moved into TV and film production in 1997 and has produced and directed documentaries, and produced short films Skin Deep, Bred in the Bone, Forever, Ladies, In His Shoes and Luke and the Void for Ignition Films. She has produced academic research projects including Hindsight (a multi-screen narrative based on the Orpheus myth) at the University of Bristol, as well as Chamber of Demonstrations a unique interactive DVD exploring Jacobean theatre practice.

She is an experienced Line Producer/Production Manager with recent experience on a large scale TV commercial (Walkers Crisps for Academy Films:  Director: Peter Cattaneo  Producer: Lizie Gower)

She works closely with writers to develop screenplays for Ignition Films, and has secured development funding from South West Screen and Cornwall Film for 3 feature film projects.
